Who is the Mekong? An Exhibition by Ian Taylor

Ian Taylor is a Canadian photographer based in Bangkok. He has an immense experience in Southeast Asia, and when we saw some of his photographs, we challenged him to tell us, in his mind and through his lens, who he thought the Mekong was. In this exhibition, we present some of Ian’s significant and fascinating yield. Just click on the image below to set it off. Ian Taylor’s website is here.

Beyond the next bend - An Exhibition by Douglas Varchol

Douglas Varchol is an independent, Bangkok-based filmmaker and producer who has worked in the Mekong region for more than a decade. When we considered making a film about the Mekong, we suggested to Douglas that he attempt to film the discussion itself – how the river is perceived, what the stakes are, what the different sides in the debate believe. You can view details about the film (and download it if you have good bandwidth) on our sister website here. In this exhibition, we showcase a series of stunning stills from the documentary.
